Before you make a decision on what stallion to choose as the
sire of your foal(s),
consider the following: 1. Is this stallion Dutch-bred? The Germans may make the
best automobiles, but the Dutch absolutely breed the best Friesians. 2. Is the stallion tested EVA negative? You want to be sure
that your breeding comes with healthy, virus free semen. 3. What is this stallion's motility scores? Semen motility
& extended motility ratings are crucial to the artificial insemination
process. 4. Does the owner of this stallion have trained people in
collection and insemination, so you can be assured of the best chances for
producing a live foal, and fresh semen when you need a shipment? Mare care
and monitoring while she is in season by a good 'AI' Veterinarian is not
cheap, so we want to make sure that you'll get the collection and shipment
when you need it. |
